When was the last mega 203 built for the uk market,we have a 1996 203 mega with vista cab which i believe was one of the last ones.Still going strong.

Ours is a 218, non-vista cab (unfortunately). Good combine though.

Brother didn't want a lexion, as didn't want to replace computer/screen at £3k+ when it would inevitably fail.

218 has something to live up to though, vs the 106. Bought 106 for £6,500, cut 400 acres/year for 15 years (could have been more years, can't quite remember), sold it for £5k. Would probably spend towards £1k/year on maintenance.

I’ve driven a lot of different combine harvesters over the last 25 years. The 204 mega I had back in the early 00s was the best machine of them all. Sample was fantastic

It’s easier to get a good sample in a 204 than a 203 as the 204 had the drop off the grain pan onto the sieves with an air stream blowing through it, blowing all the light stuff straight over the back and lowering the sieve load. They were good combine’s and easy to fix. The downside was that parts are horrendously expensive and you needed quite a lot of them.
