Claas 255 net problem

Hi all..
I have an issue with a claas 255 roto cut. The automatic net wrap is not engaging when the bale chamber is full. Ive changed the switch on the door but still no joy. Now it wont engage the net manually. The control box looks as it should be with all lights working etc. Any ideas on my problem? Anything else i should be looking at? I have my fingers crossed its not the magnetic clutch... any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am just getting the baler fired up for some silage, but the wrap doesn't seem to feed at the start of the bale. The control box appears to be fine and has been checked over by Mr King when he put a new plug on it, and the belts appear tight on the drive. I see it has a magnetic clutch drive, so I was wondering if there is anything to look at in there, if anyone has ever had a similar issue. I'm guessing it should click if I connect it up to a feed. Any suggestions gratefully received :)
Worth a read, my old 46rc would not feed net in this year, it turned out the metal feed roller bearings were kaput, Angus. Edited to say, Machinery section 14th July @Red Fred created a similar thread, I thought I had linked it, Angus

if you have the tractor stopped and the control box on and press the tail gate switch manually you should be able to hear the net drive clutch click in then out again after a few seconds if its working

From the memory of ours that is correct, but the bale ramp switch had to beep to finish the cycle or it wouldn't reset for auto netting the next bale.

Had a problem with a 360 not wrapping in either manual or auto a few weeks ago. The clutch wasn’t clicking when pressing the manual button. I ended up taking the netwrap storage box off to get better access to the clutch. The earth wire wasn’t great so remade that, but that wasn’t the problem. Put 12v off the battery direct to the clutch and it would click. Check the wiring around the clutch and clean it all up first.

I baled 200 bales by running a wire from the clutch to a switched 12v supply in the cab, activating the switch for about 3secs to start the wrapping cycle. Claas mechanic looked at it a few days later and said it was a faulty UBM module (small box behind netwrap storage box), new £750, repaired by David King Electronics for £250

The bale cycle only restarts when the door is open and the kick ramp goes down (hold the door switch down and stand on the ramp at the same time)

It sounds like its just not completing the cycle for some reason.
If when the light is flashing you switch the power off and back on is it ok then ?

the last bit of the cycle is closing the tailgate, so tailgate switch not set right or not working or wiring

will it run a cycle by hand OK ?
