Claas 2800 oil pipe repair

Just pulled the rake out of the shed, gone to open it up and an oil pipe going from the main frame up into the box section arm that lifts the rotor has burst. The oil pipe fitting on the end of the ram is about 18" up inside the box section and there is not enough room to get a spanner in to undo it,do i take out the ram mounting pin and extend the ram so the fitting comes further down the box section if that makes sense or is there an easier way?
In middle of pic 1 is the pipe that has burst and in the middle of pic 2 is the pin holding the ram

I’ve just had similar problem with the same burst pipe and opposite side is almost rubbed through very poor build quality Claas. Pipe rubbing of arm !! Anyways I gathered it’s going to be a test of a job to do . Hardest part will be knocking roll pins out the pin up inside arms . Why couldn’t they put them on outside ! I’m kinda thinking off cutting a hole to get in with spanner then weld back up. Sounds rough but practical at same time!! Anybody else done similar of any tips how to do properly. Thanks

We welded a punch on to a piece of bar to knock the roll pin out.
With the rake folded we removed the pin and then extended the ram down with the tractor spool, replaced the pipe and then pulled the ram back in with the spool

Exactly what we’ve done on ours, replaced both pipes while apart, other side failed a few days later.
