Hi I was just wondering if anybody else had any problems with the new Claas Arion 420 FPT engine and its regenerating cycle. We have had the tractor 18 months and have had many problems with the frequency of it regenerating.

Yes. I just run down the road for 5 mins if it wants to do a regen now and that has the same effect and stops it doing a regen for another 3 hrs. Do you have a loader on your tractor or the electro-pilot joystick?

I don't know anything about the 630. The way I use my 420 meant that the tractor would do a regen every 3hrs, so I would wait for the regen light to go out, tractor parked up for about 20mins , engine running. One evening after 1.5 hrs of " regenning" the light was still on. Got very pee'd off, rang the dealer and rejected the tractor. Anyway, running down the road has same effect as the regen. But this is a 19 plate 420 Arion, no idea about any other tractor's regen!

On our second 16 plate did it for first time wondered what the hell it was up to the first time !
21 plate 450 Wouldn't be more than once a week .On feeder bedder so doing daily work getting hot .I think it's all linked to air temperature colder and it wants to do it more . Haven't timed it but not more than 5 mins I should think .But bloody annoying when trying to do something and keeps cutting in !
