Claas chopper

Hi all I have a claas 890 and it's chopping way too fine 25 ml how do I increase this to 50 ml its a 20 knife drum and feed rollers are sped up

Take every other knife out ??? Or speed the intake up. Should give directions in the operators manual or a call to the claas dealer

Take half the blades out or use them half blades

A fine consistent chop is a good part of the appeal of a SP harvester. Unless the customers are grumbling.

25mm isn’t overly short by today’s standards either.
