Ahoy,
I have a Claas corto grass cutter, and one of the bottom sliding saucers has a bit of jiggle on it. So, thinking I'll get this nipped in the bud, I've set to in attempt to have a leisurely morning replacing an easy bearing or two..
So, I've got the saucer off, removed the big bolt in the bottom of the shaft, and expected the round saucer holder upper to simply slide off the vertical shaft and gently into my hands..
Except it didn't. It's still stuck up on the shaft. It does jiggle up and down a couple of mm, but shows no inclination of coming off easily.
Has anyone on here done this operation before? Will it come off, or am I missing a circlip or similar?
Many thanks in advance.
