Cannot get the beans to flow in the header. They cut and just sit on table between knife and auger. Tried all sorts.
Is it just a bad design header?

What about incressing forward speed so they are getting pushed in faster my be also increases reel speed and hight to see if that helps flow .

Put a bit more reel in. Give auger fingers a bit more grab, raise auger in header, all very well saying go quicker but if they won't feed and then lump all you will get is a blockage. Miserable business, good luck.
Does not help you, but bigger diameter Lexion auger definitely feeds better.

Pull reel back as far as it'll go, little bit more reel speed, angle finger to grab a bit more and try cutting diagonally or cross over instead of up n down with tramlines. Let header down a bit more rather than leave a longer stubble and a little bit more forward speed does help it flow. Dividers and wings help if its not flowing on the outside's of the header.

Was always told to push them down with the reel which did work on a damp day ( not too many losses) but i used to have the reel pulling them in and drive like the clappers. Be brave get them so they are constantly pushing onto to cutterbar auger!

Tried the reel right in and still crap. Had the reel slow, medium, fast and super fast. Header is down as podded low but tall plants.
Tried side knife as thought was catching on side but it just sits on the front
