What symptoms have you got with the tractor.

301 - Inconsistent current measurement on forward solenoid valve

310 - The current sent to the reverse gear solenoid valve return is less than the set point value

311 - As above but for forward valve

337 - Inconsistency between the selected gear and measured ratio.,

Would think that 301 and 337 codes are generated because of the nature of codes 310 and 311.

Possible problem with your Auto 5 box or harness between auto 5 and forward - reverse solenoids.
There are also some shunt connectors under the console that can get dirty , corroded connections

Tractor was fine on Friday and Saturday morning when went to take out of shed it jumps forward regardless of how easy foot is let of clutch pedal,wen I got to it and swaped wires on fwd rev solenoids the problem switches to reverse.any ideas?

I'm afraid that without seeing the tractor then where shooting in the dark.
Could be anything from a dirty connector to the Auto 5 box playing up. You could really do to have someone with a laptop to have a look.

Got new shunt connectors today and tried them tonight,still no difference,tractor has lost all drive now(even before shunt connectors changed).is the gearbox ecu behind the seat nearest the left hand wheel?

Usually when error codes are displayed for both drive solenoid it's a problem with the auto 5 module yes the drive module is the one nearest the lh wheel under rear window they get damp and corrode from water ingress through back window big design fault to fit them there really if you remove the module and remove the end plate you will see if it is damp and corroded you can eliminate most things with a multimeter. ares are pretty simply and only really need a laptop to programme the modules

I know this must be a little bit late but you have 3 shunt connectors to change.

You have to recalibrate the gearbox. there is a procedure for that. Hope this is not too late

Short circuit to earth during range change.
Issue with harness between Auto 5 box and solenoids or Auto 5 box faulty
Thanks'for the previous code. All worked fine and now i have a code 337 that shows up from time to time and the display shows a flashing nutral. Can you please tell me the code definition? Regards

Bit late I know but for everyone else's information there are a couple of auto5 boxes on the class , the transmission one uses a lot of its capacity and the one that controls the pto uses very little.
I have in the past swapped them and swapped over the software and found that the failed internal part on the transmission box is not required when swapped over and the pto auto 5 has full function and thus cures the transmission fault , no cost other than the fitters time to swap the software over.
This is also a good diagnostic to determine if it is definitely the ecu at fault , if you swap them over and the fault persists it is not the ecu .
