A long time since I looked at this thread.
The upgrade did not cure the problem but the Claas demo man came out and we fitted a new receiver on the roof which might have been easy if the bolts had not turned without coming undone :mad:, but we got there in the end. I have been drilling this autumn and it is now very accurate. The cost of the receiver was approx. £280 so not too bad, no call out costs either.

Perhaps they now have a lot of screens and receivers as spare parts only. They are changing to a new generation screen/receiver and do not install those older ones any more to new tractors. Haven't seen specs for the new gear.

In any case, £280 for a swap is very cheap.
