Has anyone stripped one down the driveshafts?

The multi angle joint at the hinge is striking the casing, its still working, just noisy
The multi angle joint is ok
I stupidly started it with full revs on a borrowed tractor without soft start

Could be the bearing has gone it will smash up the uj very soon. They are a bit awkward to do because the shaft runs down the centre of the box section. It is easier to take off the rotor to do but quicker to lift it up to transport position and do it from below.

You will be lucky if you havnt sheared the teeth on the crown wheel ,we had to stop using a ford on ours with a severe pto start

Those pto starts are a nightmare

It was turning ok, just the shaft rattling
