Claas Scorpion 7035 blown gearbox 1700 hours

Anyone else had issues with a 2017 Claas Scorpion 7035 & faulty gearboxes? It’s done 1700 hours and we’ve been quoted

Yes most common fault on a scorpion would of thought claas would pay some towards it at those hours.
Its a sauer gearbox you can get them repaired for around £4000

We had a 2012 7035 with 5000+ hours and Claas helped replace the gearbox.

Claas usually good and help out .qw had a 2011 6030 the engine went pop at 14 months old 600 hrs all paid for they fitted a reconditioned engine which was pointed out 2yr old 1700hrs bang again new engine fitted foc .tuned out no baffles in sump so engine starved of oil .
So they like to keep customers happy.
We know run a 635 pre series and the service could not be better.

Your experience matches that of my friend. New Scorpion in 2013, less than 300 hours, BANG. Engine destroyed itself. Claas sorted it, I think lent him a machine whilst they were at it. Didn't happen again though. Has two Scorpions now.
