Claas steering

Anybody using Claas own steering kit on tractors? Looking at a new 650 Arion with the Claas system factory fitted.
Had an 18 plate Arion 660 on loan while our 630 was in the workshop during drilling this Oct. Had the S10 screen and all the in-built steering valves etc so just engage on the button on the console, or on the touchscreen or a physical button on the edge of the screen. I loved it, worked very well just a shame it was only on EGNOS, screen was big and easy to use. When we looked at steering systems 3 yrs ago we got quotes for a Claas system, RTK with steering valves etc wasnt much different to Trimble, (but out of our price range) but the same system on EGNOS was still quite a few £k more than a Trimble 750 and ezpilot motor on RTX Rangepoint so Claas basically priced themselves out of it.
If we do buy another new tractor in the next few yrs I may look into it coming with the steering built in but not sure we can justify a new 170hp tractor on 450 acres anymore with machinery prices as high as they are now.

Had the little screen in our demo 650, very easy to work out, I didn’t read a thing and got it up and running no problem, never used it before so I think that’s a good sign, biggest complaint I’d have is that demo tractor had a massive screen in it on the arm rest and gps can’t run through it, so we told any how, daft!! The system worked well though (y)

We run a 660 with S10 and integrated system. Running it through the button on the Cmotion is great and I think you might even be able to link it to the headland management system but I’m not sure.

Agree with Matt77 on the Cebis screen. I felt it was a bit of a white elephant on a power shift box but with CVT you do use it a lot more.

Our’s was ex-demo and came with a fully unlocked S10. Scarily powerful bit of kit, auto-turn etc.

Don’t use isobus on it at the moment but changing the fert spinner is very much in the short term plan and it will be iso.
