I would not want one without aps, I'm trying to confirm if it's standard in a 420 and also maybe if it's available in a 320. I can't find anything to confirm this on the webWhy would you not want the APS?
I'm more familiar with New Holland machines, have you any idea how the 420 with aps would compare with a tc56 rs or a tx62?We had a 320 and now have a 420.
5.4m header on 320 which was a bit much but smallest at time to be a vario!
5.6m on 420 which is about rIght in barley but could go wider in wheat.
Best thing about 420 is the APS disawners which are put in by a leaver and not having to take the concave out to put disawner bars in.
Bit more horsepower in the 420.
Dont think you can buy a 420 without APS.
Straw and £Why would you not want the APS?
A single drum combine leaves a fantastic swathei dont think APS hurts the straw much our contractor luvs following our 430.
I don't know about sending it out in lumps but I've been passenger in some aps machines and saw lumps heading up the elevator that I thought might block it and they just disappeared through the drum without any issue. I put this down to the apsA single drum combine leaves a fantastic swathe
The aps sends it out in lumps
Yes, the aps is fantastic, but the second drum does mash the straw slightly.I don't know about sending it out in lumps but I've been passenger in some aps machines and saw lumps heading up the elevator that I thought might block it and they just disappeared through the drum without any issue. What are you comparing it to ?Yes, the aps is fantastic, but the second drum does mash the straw slightly.
Nothing like an axial flow or lexion though.
A single drum medionWhat are you comparing it to ?
We've had a tucano and 2 lesions the second is a hybrid and you can get wheat straw out of them that the head still looks intact they're certainly not hard on straw unless it's way over ripe and an absolutely scorching day
If you can keep the 3 drum newer ones full enough they're pretty good our tucano 450 and lexion 65p were only hard on straw with the extra threshing segments bolted in which weren't in oftenA single drum medion
