You'll have a lot of runs to the shed to bring a meadow that size in

Yes!!!
They are a pain for doing that and wrapping round the top of the drums.
I spend a lot of time cursing class tedders for this issue. It can be reduced by running on a lot lower pto revs when the grass is dry. I run at 540 rpm for 1st pass then 520 for 2nd. When nearly dry possibly down to 460ish but it all depends on the crop.

Sorted the problem by taking the tine savers off

I've an older 540 and it gets grass round the top of the rotors, a pain to get it out. Have but no time savers, I'll try slower rotor speed
