Why don't you see many about? The concept looks good. High hp not massive weight and four big tyres in each corner to help spread weight. Anybody got the history of their development. I know that CAT engine, but what transmission and back end? Me and neighbor were talking about it earlier as there is one on that big sale in Salisbury. Are they reliable?

chap who rents a shed from me has one, its his second, first was a nightmare and in the end he got shot of it due to electric issues, current one seems ok,uses it on woodchipper

Does this mean earlier ones had issues with electrics? There is one on another thread on here looks good value for money. But I can imagine they could also attract some massive repair bills!
 
Sorry I don't know how to put the link up but look on YouTube for Claas xerion lacotec and one of the first videos that comes up is quite good.Maybe not as fast as a self propelled but useful for other things

There's a guy not far from us is on his second he had a 3800 now it's a bigger one he has now a 5000? I like the idea of the 4 equal wheels kinda like a big modern day county . I have seen one pulling a sumo trio and for the hp it wasn't exactly playing with it but it was in sticky land.
