Clamped fodder beet

Anybody tried clamping fodder beet mixed with grass silage? looking at mixing 100t of beet in with 5-600t of 1st cut grass, its clean and can be stored in a shed until we need to clamp it, looking at just bucketing it in whole as we fill the pit with grass.

needs to be chopped and spread thinly onto grass otherwise it can create tiny air pockets which will spoil the silage

NEVER NEVER put in in silage whole
It goes soft and the animals suck it down and choke
Always wash and chop it
