Clamping silage

Apologies for my ignorance on this topic. In FW there was an article saying you need approximately a third of you hourly output/fill rate in weight, ie 100tph forager then you need 33 tonnes rolling it in the clamp. How does this square with the likes of a Pisten bully as they are about 11 tonnes? I understand from tests they achieve higher density?? And more consistently as well.

Thanks for any help and wisdom on this.

I would think its because its tracked there is a more even spread of weight which gives better consistency
Just guessing though
