Anyone who owns a Claas drive another make and automatically go to tilt steering wheel using a non existent foot pedal!
Yes every time I have to move someone else's tractor. What is more I regularly put other tractors into forward on the shuttle thinking I have put on the handbrake having a NH T7 before means handbrake on the shuttle for the last 10 years it's a hard habit to brake.

as to claas/renault ares/arion,just sold a high hr worn out??? 556 ares loader tractor, was an 03 model and to be fair was a bloody good tractor,it got very little maintenance(didnt need any)was comfy to drive, powerfull hydraulics, and compact, biggest problem was electrics due to four point suspended cab and renaualts zealous use of cable ties onto a moving frame,.....the number of times i have wanted to strangle a tractor builder is probly best overlooked🤬

Thinking of getting a 2010 620 or similar if I can find one. What should I look out for especially with higher hours?
usual John Deere engine thoughts - cylinder head etc
Rear wheel bearings,
Check little gear stick is in good order,
Front wheel hubs
Check air con
Check some 🔔 end hasn’t tried to force a 2 litre bottle of pop in the little fridge under the steering wheel

Our Arion 650 is now on 8700 hours,it’s had money spent on it this year but I don’t think any more than another colour tractor.
Ares 697 is still with us with 14200 hours.
Been faultless since it had a new short engine wiring loom at 10000 hours.
