Use to use a older rake that had liquid grease in it as that use to leak.
In all honesty it’s probably leaking extremely little to whatyou think it is

Just pulled my own rake out recently and noticed oil down the PTO guard, oil seal not shot but weeping, forgot about it from last year.

Topped up the box, took less than a quarter of a litre to leave it right.

Spinning shafts will make it look worse.

You could ask a machinery dealer, they may know a trick on how to cover up leaks 🙈

In the short term you need something of a higher viscosity.

Just started to strip this out, suspect we have a bearing gone at the bottom of the rotor.
Stripped down to and removed crown wheel. Cannot work out next move.
Can the bottom bearing and seal be replaced from the bottom?
What holds the height adjustment in place?
Nothing is very obvious from the parts manual!
TIA

Bit of advice.
Finally got it apart, bottom seal runs on a bush. Whilst we try to store it inside tends to be left out during season. Water has got behind the seal and rusted the bush which has been enough to damage the seal.
So park it in the shed!
Good comment.. some machines can trap water and it soaks through the seals. Kuhn tedders stored upright can trap water and ruin the bearings but I see plenty of machines folded up for a winter.
