Around 2008 just want to know if any problems known with them, always had a NHWhat is the problem you have? Age of the baler also would help.
Yep!!!!!!!!!!! Mine just being traded in, but the net system on it could drive you to drink!!! Had to run it with good net only (expensive stuff) otherwise you would spend more time off the seat than on, I like the baler but the net system is rubbish, 12+ years ago I ran NH balers, net system didn't miss a beatHas anyone had problems with net wrap application
all about fine tuning the spring tension and making sure the trough is clean and not rusty. many I have set up never need Any adjustment but it is a case of spending the time fine tuning. When the roll is getting to the end, lower the revs everytime you wrap a bale, that way it doesn't throw the roll out of the front, you can empty the roll this way, leave it at working revs and it will chuck the roll out on the last 10-15 bales.
messed around with springs plenty, the lowing of the revs works best, for me anyway.all about fine tuning the spring tension and making sure the trough is clean and not rusty. many I have set up never need Any adjustment but it is a case of spending the time fine tuning.
Normally just run the one spring but medium tension on it gets you pretty much there.messed around with springs plenty, the lowing of the revs works best, for me anyway.
Is it the same net system as a rollant?Around 2008 just want to know if any problems known with them, always had a NH
No. It’s got a similar rubber feed roller but everything else is different. Is it the same net system as a rollant?
Yes they do. If you have too much tension on the springs for the brake it will cause you problems with a new roll of net.If the net is kept , you wont have any trouble
Does it have a brake on the net roll?
On the rollant i leave the brake off till roll is half usedYes they do. If you have too much tension on the springs for the brake it will cause you problems with a new roll of net.
We bought a claas variant 360 brand new in 2016 and have had problems with the net wrap. Dry bales it would never miss a beat but as soon as we would touch wet hay with it we would have to run expensive bet wrap, and even then it would miss a bale here and there otherwise a great machineHas anyone had problems with net wrap application
