Classic reversible at the British

Having not attended any matches in England with a classic reversible class I was surprised to see that they are doing single furrow openings. The European classic reversible class does a double opening as does the Scottish and all the local Scottish matches! Don’t know if there are any classic reversible men on here and was wondering there take on it? My point of view being that getting a finish right with a classic reversible to within 4-5 inches is hard enough without having to be inch perfect! And I thought it was hand trip only. Any thoughts?

I did see this and would tend to agree with your comment about the finish. This has often been a contentious issue for judging and caused much discussion! Anybody else?
I was thinking about having a run down to see how it's done south of the border!
