Classic tractor security

Any suggestions of sensible things to do to help keep a early 1990s tractor secure? It will be in a barn in a farmyard but the barn can’t be locked at the moment (that’s work in progress). Farmyard gate will be locked but that wouldn’t stop a determined thief I suspect.

Alterations to wiring on safety start, fuel cut off, gearbox actuator or physical locks on steering ram, steering wheel or gear levers.
If the buggers want it they'll have it.
Up the insurance value and take some pics of an immaculate model with good tyres on. ;)

What about a period 90s style steering wheel lock and leave it parked on full lock tight to the wall?

Or take all the wheels off.

Possibly idiotic but in a tractor couldn’t you still turn the steering wheel with one of those locks on it....didn’t they work based on the fact that your legs got in the way in a car but with the extra room in a tractor cab it could still be driven into the back of a lorry?

Something like this maybe? Just found it on google.

Knowing me I’d forget I had it on and do some damage to the steering....

if it has load sensing steering, add a tap (electric or manual) to the steering orbital LS pipe! park it on full lock then turn the tap off = no steering;)

T in to the ignition switch wire going to the starter motor. run it through a horn button so you have to hold the button down at same time as turning the key. No one is going to press a horn button when they are stealing something are they?:scratchhead:

if no horn button T it in to the windscreen washer wiper;)
