When its so old and dated in its design,function and appearance, that you cant call it modern anymore, some were born classics:LOL:
But that aint necessarily a bad thing, like a JD6910 or someat like that:unsure:

6910 was the pinnacle of green and yellow

everything after has gone downhill faster than the countrys bank balance!

Nick, well here goes. Don't think there is such a thing as a specific date when something becomes a classic or ceases to be one. From our point of view (Classic Tractor magazine) we rarely venture back further than 1965 and would certainly include lots of tractors from the 1990s, such as Deere 6910s, New Holland TM155s, Case-IH Maxxum MXs, etc.

Might be worth looking at the Society of Ploughmen's website to see their definition of a classic....I think for the purposes of their 'classic' class it's 1952 onwards, but not sure.
