Ah but boy, you forget " beauty is in the eye if the beholder ", we like Zetor's, but others don't. What you think of as a pile of shyte, some one else might think the world of. Each to their own.being 30 year old dont make a classic if it was a pile of shyte when it left the factory,it is now 30 year old shyte.
Either way I'm comfortably in "Classic" territory myself. You define Pre-Q cab, in my case it's me that's cablessThat's the Society of ploughmen's definition - pre Q cab is the ruling for ploughing match classes

I have a very wide centre parting. A Foreman I worked with in the eighties saw me recently and said it's true what he'd heard. I just said grass don't grow on busy roads, he countered in Somerset why would a farmer thatch an empty barnYou mean that your like me and folically challenged

'Too much sex in a too-short bed' it was suggested to me.. Can assure you that's not the cause, not in my case anywayI have a very wide centre parting. I quite agree. I often get people trying to P/X something they think (or pray) has a value purely because it is old. Being old does NOT mean it is valuable!being 30 year old dont make a classic if it was a pile of shyte when it left the factory,it is now 30 year old shyte.
Lots of folk get over inflated ideas of what an old tractor is worth, usually because they see a headline somewhere about one making big money in an auction. Takes an old tractor to be in real good original condition to be worth anything over the odds.

I think it did £11,200 (I was standing next to it). It was the best around - pretty much all his stuff was. It's bound to make some joskin somewhere think his is worth that, too, even though there is not a 4610 in the world that is really worth that. It's the Cambridge effect - see that thread......and almost always 1 owner too.
Real nice 4610 gen3 4wd 1owner made 11k plus at sale recently, but in a normal market place a scruffy one with a few owners would make about ish half that.
