I've been getting a couple of smaller fields ready for some spring rye (as an experiment); and some lentils (as an experiment / gamble):

Out spreading some rock P today with the 3050 and Teagle spreader. I always take photos by that tree as it provides something else to look at in the shot (especially if you don't like JDs...)

Overall I really like the farm but one minor shortcoming is the lack of a working loader at present. Putting 6 tonnes of fertiliser into that spreader with a shovel was more of a work-out than I felt like today tbh. The keen-eyed will note the greedy boards grafted onto the spreader, made from scaff planks. It still doesn't quite hold a tonne though.
