This thread never ceases to impress me! Good to see all the oldies still working.

My old 1974 474 still earns her keep - my be the oldest and smallest of the fleet but at this time of year she does more than the big ones and doesn't stop from dawn 'til dusk. Air con option is take a door off!

What are you drilling and what was preceding crop and any other info would be great.
Nice outfit BTW.
Busy drilling oats, last year was lupins. Seeder is 3,8m wide, Australian made Horwood Bagshaw disc drill that is slightly modified and press wheels fitted. The tandem disc is to loosen the ground up some and disc some of the weeds under. The old TW plays with this setup and uses much less fuel than the MF 8130.

Lovely outfit .............. (y)

Thanks. It was the first time we used the baler, unfortunately it didn't go that well. The net rap failed on the first bale and then netted some bales before they were full size plus the net failed to cover the whole width. We have taken the knife bar out and sharpened the knives plus cleaned the roller. Will see how it goes next time.
