She is semi retired after 28,000 hours but still called into work when needed will never part with it View attachment 645834

I was looking for a 390T or 398 a few years ago and they had a lot less hours than that and were nowhere as clean, ended up buying a New Holland TL90A,
How are the hours clocked on the 300 series is it an hour for every hour of the day or is it the same as the 100 series where it has to do with engine revs

counts hours over 1800 rpm.. After 500 acres and the tractor only clocking 12 hours we put a electrical hour meter on the tractor

@Selectamatic - ha - yours looks a little better than the one I'm using. I spent the best part of a day unjamming it and getting it usable one day last month, as it's been unused at the back of a shed for 15 years or so. It does alright though, apart from the beaters starting work when they're meant to be disengaged. I just need a little tractor to pull it though, the JD is a bit heavy for it really.

I've done a bit of repair and maintenance on mine, it might be worth you doing so too? Send me a pm and I'll tell you all about it, most fascinating sh!t spreader conversation you ever will have had!

Another tractor, I have just the thing... :)

I have similar and was just curious . I might be interested in the frame when your finished taking bits off it. Malpas tractors is where I got the shares and points for mine last.

It actually belongs to my landlord, I would have scrapped it ages ago if it was down to me. I think the headstock is knackered and that's why it got put there and never moved again. Dunno what model it is - it's a Ransomes and is a 3F 2+1, looks to be 12" boards on it.
