Yes agree the SG2 cabbed 2140 is one of the nicest drives of the 80s, and still is!

I've a pair of uneven rose tinted glasses that you cab borrow. 8)

I think you are right, I thought 2140 had 1-4, H,L,R on other stick and power syncron splitter. I may be wrong. Been a long time since i drove one. 30's are 12 speed.

You could get a right hand door on the SG2 cab in USA it was for the porky driver to fit out, but it weakened the cad too much JD stopped it

I know they did a few with a second door, I thought it was for some Scandinavian market that needed two doors. But it was never used elsewhere in the world for whatever reason.
