    Got the old nissan doing a couple of hours work digging cow muck this afternoon. With a repaired idler, new (second hand) track and all brand new rollers, she is running sweet. Engine starts and runs perfectly and she's even running cooler than before (was overheating). The light was failing so the pic is a bit dim.

    Just saying, a mate had an Alfa Romeo (166) and to get the gauges to work at all, you had to flick the gauge glass with your finger?
    So it might be worth a tap ...........

    No I'm sure its fine, I was only joking ...............
    Probably wont go any higher unless working hard on a hot day.

    Good repair on the bottom of the rad ............. (y)
    They can be hard to seal without causing more issues with overheating good solder joints.

    Apologies for the strange sense of homour

  15. @FonterraFarmer put up a picture of your ford with the baler. Be a while till we see something like that on this side of the world now we are in the middle of winter :(

    Nice tractor we ran a 804 but it took keeping cool on mower or choper
    Had a look on your profile but you hadnt it on
    So just wondered wher are you at with the snow

    Tomtrac, im located in Finland and no trouble with cooling at this moment. Outside temperature is -12 celsius now.

  20. No, 440, new on farm in the mid 70's , makes really nice square bales weighing 25-30kg+ ,have second 440 for parts and ex contractors 47 (not B47) that should be restored.:D
