The farm’s Disco 3 at the local garage for a new alternator. So they lent me this Y reg old girl for the day.
I’d forgotten how good they were/are.
Bloody uncomfortable down a bumpy track, but a good old workhorse, nonetheless.
I bet the New ones aren’t as reliable. I have a friend who has one and it certainly isn’t. But he is a dairy farmer!

Finally got round to make a frame to carry the weights on the front links, made a big difference, should have done it a long time ago.
Mates press brake wouldn't touch 20mm plate so had to cut and weld it, happy with it, as it doesn't stick out too far.

Home made foam marker made out of old gas bottle. Compressor in cab blowing air into the bottom of the tank, which is filled with water and 'boutafoam'.
Bubbles exit through the top, down the yellow pipe into the squash bottle, where it collects untill it's too heavy and drops in a blob in the field.
Got the idea from ' Practical farm ideas ' (@farmideas )years ago, when someone did the same but used
an old fire extinguisher.
Cost me £30 for a decent 12v compressor and that's it. Cheaper and simpler than a GPS system.
