Nearing 20 years old. A bit young for a classic but as the basis was introduced in 1992 I think it counts.
has that tractor just been humped by a bull elephant ?

Our scraper tractor I located for us last autumn to replace a very worn out 135.
It's a MF 40 industrial, with the 165 back axle, solid front axle and power steering. With a 240 bonnet, came with an 80 loader and a QF cab.
Fixed up 135 mudguards and a roll frame. Fixed power steering and rear lift, put a new clutch and crank oil seal in, a load of little fixy jobs. Also fitted worklights.
Not exactly original and still needs some work (core plugs leaking) but the nicest scraper tractor to drive that we've ever had.
That's a nice looking bit of soil Vincent. How many kg do you reckon to get from a patch that size?View attachment 871974View attachment 871975View attachment 871976Sowing this years potatoes this week.
I'm not sure maybe 500 to 750 kg. I took this picture yesterday. That's a nice looking bit of soil Vincent. How many kg do you reckon to get from a patch that size?
Oh the smell of a TVO tractor, Dad had one when he started farming on his own in 1962,Not exactly earning its keep but I might try cutting a sward or two of hay
Does the 165 axle make it slow?I like this thread
