Mixed Farmer
Today we have to plant potatoes with the faun because we broke the Standen. 1983 planter with a 1997 tractor. I remember collecting planter from a farm near Skegness in 1984. I often feel guilty about taking it away from the tropical wonderland that is Lincolnshire and bringing it to this equatorial hell hole.

Dont know I'm afraid. Not really up to speed on all things Komatsu.
As I milk cows here, hiring a machine is not really cost efective, you lose too much time at both ends of the day milking and feeding. I Had a fair amount of ditching and digging work to do, So I was on the look out for an old machine that I could hop on and do a few hours work in the middle of the day, then leave her till the next spare few hrs. She came up for sale locally as a two owner machine, the second local owner from about 1800hrs to 11k so knew her history, and not had to worry about her being stolen. Shes not really worked hard, but the tracks were knackered, and the mechanical controls have a fair throw to them. But she's a cracking machine, starts on the button even after been standing for 6 months. I spent £2k on new track chains and sprockets last year, as I was fed up of the tracks falling off. A bloke called Dave Jones from Wigan turned up at 7am took off the pads, swapped the chains and sprockets, bolted the pads on with new bolts, and left at 1pm, wasn't even worth me attempting the job. Not the fastest, not the most powerful machine, but for the money she will be here for a long time and won't owe me much
