Was driving on the A470 between Rhayader and langurig a few years back and something caught my eye, Looking up out of the very top of the windscreen I could see a equal wheel county doing some topping up above us
It was steep was glad when we got past there

Got carried away when we replaced the drawbar last year, 2nd time they have been painted since father & uncle brought them 2nd hand in the early 70s

P reg 6600, owned from new, still a very capable small 6 cylinder and not a bad place to spend a day.
I bought a second hand loader for it about 4 years ago that had been adapted to fit but I had to take the mud guards off.

Yeah its not done a lot of hard work recently and thats a bugger of a hill its a big long one goes on over mile and a half doesnt give chance to level out!

I just drag chain harrows behind springtines and they do a brill job of working down with each pass

Ive got an old set of chain harrows somewhere in the scrap pile i dragged out of a hedge when i was topping might see if theyre any use, its mad the fixed tine fergie cultivators done a far better job than the spring tine did!
