Has the 362 been a good tractor?
@Dave
has it been ok dave 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
pete state of fuel filter don’t think it’s had a loving home , came from a black yow hill billy fsrmer in lake district , 💁
bought unseen only pics from auction 👍😳
spent a bit of time on it
front wheels 😳😳. dare not blow them up for fear of them exploding and getting shrapnel from the rust on them
have tee cut bonnet twice and cleaned serviced it , new lights etc , wife said buy a project from money saved from not going out or away for last two years ❤️
will be a handy run around when done just radio to put in and it’s having 520/70/30 on back or 13.6/36 are biggest can get under mudguards

I suppose it’s a good thing that it can be so abused and still be fighting on.

Hopefully a good tractor, I’m thinking of buying one.

I cannot understand why having a loader makes an old tractor worth more money
Me too.
Any sign of a loader or its frame makes me immediately worry about a clutch.
Not that it is difficult to change them.
But I’d rather buy one without and a separate loader and fit it on myself.
I did this for my friends that own this one when it was bought from Cheffins at Cambridge 30 odd years ago
I had to alter a strut to get past the power steering pump. But it was easy enough.

Was always told when I was a kid, never to buy a tractor with loader on, and they were always worth less than without. Always fit yourself. Don't seem to hear that now. I guess loaders weren't as pricey back in the day though...
I think it’s because years ago loaders were on 2wd tractors but now they are all on heavier 4wd tractors. The front axle as well as the clutch, hydraulic pump and probably tombstone were all worn out on the 2wd loader tractor.

Picked this up tonight, unseen online auction buy, Fleming Slemish Super 1000. £350 so thought it was worth a punt. Hopefully get a shaft on it tomorrow night and see if it runs 🤞🏻 Don’t have much slurry so should do our job, and will suit any of our tractorsView attachment 1000722
It's a long time since I've seen a slemish tanker that didn't have the top sucked in. Take care.

Always would have liked a 6810
Had it since 2008, when it replaced a 3650 and its been an absolutely fantastic tractor.
Was blown away how well it pulled, considering it was supposed to only be 10hp more than the 36.
Had it dyno'd last year.....and its 35hp more than the 3650
Looked at several disappointing examples and then came across this one being sold off an estate.
Had extra scv's that I needed and some other options, including TLS.
Had never driven a tls before and when you've had a life time of back troubles, that makes a big difference.
I bought a 6410 a few years ago, to put a loader on and that's been an absolute pleasure to own.
