He must have better eyesight than me! I've been around it loads over the last 7 years and always took it to be CJR 7988

Have you got the tax book? You better clean the plate and get another photo tomorrow
It's not my combine and no don't think the owners have the tax book either, the current owners and the last owner would never have needed it on the road. Will be there tomorrow and will have a look and will see if I can find a serial number or a date code etc, have a funny feeling she is 1964, dunno why tho

Lovely original machine.
A neighbour had a Class Europa ? , I think it was . Very similar looking to that , but a bagger only. The engine over the R/H wheel etc. I remember hearing "It has an engine the same as a 65 ". I think it may have been on something like 12.4 x 24s?

The combine was sold for £400 , at a dispersal sale following his death in February 1977.
