4cyl perkins, sounds lovely
Our old Lely had a Perkins 6354 in, went like a rocket, the other one had a Turbo version in it, that sounded like a rocket!!

There is no letter after the numbers, 3 letters and 4 numbers, it's a northern Ireland number, I just don't recognise the country

805b was 6cyl, the BTversion was a 4 Turbo, think they were first digger to use a 4 turbo

It's not my combine and no don't think the owners have the tax book either, the current owners and the last owner would never have needed it on the road. Will be there tomorrow and will have a look and will see if I can find a serial number or a date code etc, have a funny feeling she is 1964, dunno why tho

Taken from a local facebook page, a Claas Mercury leaving Saundersfoot Harbour heading for Caldey Island:

A neighbour had a Class Europa ? , I think it was . Very similar looking to that , but a bagger only. The engine over the R/H wheel etc. I remember hearing "It has an engine the same as a 65 ". I think it may have been on something like 12.4 x 24s?
The combine was sold for £400 , at a dispersal sale following his death in February 1977.
