Yep, a TM with cab and front axle suspension.
Which went in for a relatively minor repair and which has just snowballed.
Hopefully back next week!!

Oh, what happened. I’ve done the engine on one few years ago, had to wheel the front axle and cradle out to next parish to get sump off!!!

If it was heavy material you couldn't put on, but this stuff is more "fluffy" as it's just overgrowth onto the lane. It is a custom made trailer that's far heavier floor and sides than a normal drop side trailer and hydraulic rear door "fingers"

What bit of Fermanagh are you in that the clay is 'fluffy' in the month of Feb.

All the cultivations and bed making/ridging are mechanised, the harvesting is done by hand.
Hand weeding in the first year or two if they've got out of hand, ground preparation pre-planting is key!

Thanks @sclb - sorry another question. Can you spray asparagus beds once it's died down for the winter to get rid of perennial weeds? Hand weeding on any scale must be a right pain, as asparagus is so shallow rooted?

Asparagus is very deep rooted.
Yes, in fact is a job for this week to get a RoundUp on. Fern has been already removed.
Hand weeding isn't really practical on a large acreage

Spotted you over the hedge yesterday Bill. Had a wheeled mate along with you as well? How is it ploughing up? Spring wheat going in fine over here apart from the wet spots which are still damn wet!! Bit of moling in order this year for sure.
