Would a section for members to post items that are for sale/wanted by themselves and maybe links to items on other internet sites that may be of interest to us here be any use to people? Just a thought like :)

Ok very simple system added - we will do a much better classifieds system for members eventually but this should get you started

Do we want to allow people to comment on others threads in there

It is good to be able to ask a public question sometimes but there is a danger of forgetting it is an advert for something not a discussion of that machine's weak points.

Thats what i was thinking, would it be better to have an individual "sticky" post at the top of the respective sections, then people who were say browsing the stock sections would have their classifieds seperate to those of the machinery etc, which would also have its own sticky, would help to stop adverts getting lost among new threads as happens on other sites? Or would it be better to just have them all in one place so they are easier to manage?
