Classifieds shutdown

The existing TFF classifieds system is going to be taken down and sent to the scrap bin it belongs in next week and replaced by something new and shiney !

To achieve this classifieds will be closed from Monday morning until Friday evening

all existing adds ( well anything less than 3 months old) will be imported to the new system so don't worry about any recent adds you may have going missing and they will still be viewable in the threads created in the for sale forum

For the third time i report the following which looks like a scam to me.

Address is shown as 83-84 Hampstead High Street....this looks more like USA and fake.

@Fuzzy - apologies first time I have seen this - however, we don't get alerted unless you use the report functionality in the system (or you tag us on here and even then is difficult due to the amount of alerts we get).

You can do that easily report any listing and its generates an email and alerts within Farm classifieds, this way reports aren't missed and they will get actioned:

Rolled out a couple of small updates the Farm Classifieds this week - some of which were based on feedback (thanks !)

Many are behind the scenes but stuff you might notice includes

Top bar shortcut to "recent ads"

Browse by category added to Advanced Search Page

TFF username now added to the listing when posted automatically by classified into the Forum for sale section now includes the TFF member username being sold by a member ( if the classifieds user who has added there TFF username to their classifieds account) this means they are tagged into replies ton the thread automatically and can be contacted via PM if preferred over the classifieds emailing system


Another big difference is that bulk uploads from dealers no longer show as more recent than newer ads, only new machines added by a dealer will show as recent stopping other ads being pushed down the page


There is quite a lot of other stuff but mostly stuff that a user won't notice
