Anyone out there using a twin disc instead of the front leading tine in front of the twin tine kit ? If so how's it going ? Or has anyone demo'd one ? How did it go ?

Apologies for the hijack, but has anyone direct drilled grass into established grassland?

Thinking of spraying old grass off, and then using tin disc with low disturbance twin tines to stitch in the grass seed.

Has anyone done this or are rows widths too wide?

@Devon James has sown grass with his.

What concerns me about the disc/tine kit would be the lack of penetration by the twin tines, especially in tight permanent pasture. At least the normal tine leg moves enough soil for the twin tine to work in.
