Oh and give the lift pump a few pumps (see will it go hard) with the little lever on the side, just in case you have a bit of air, worth a try .......

Is this the excess fuel button? Assume it’s pushed in to start

Hi . Yes thats the button
Press in . Click . If u pulled . Pull to stop it would pop out . Click .
If the button hasnt bin used it can stick . Go easy .....
Lots of lube wd 40 ..
Once engine fires it will reset the pump to the throttle setting .
Bets theres a vid on u tube ?
Pumps on fordsons is what @Mursal is thinking similar but different.
Buton in is full fuel / full throttle untill it automatically resetts to hand throttle setting . If u get me ?

Ok so I have a few bits that I’ve inherited or blindly purchased at auctions for the pick up hitch. Which bits are any use and which bits are pointless and what else do I need?

first pic bottom part of fergie puh
but might not b for te20 may be mf 35 65 ...

red t bar looks like mf tee bar not seen one quite like that b4 does it fit on the fergie? or mf 35 65 tee bar for te20 has a ally domed button to release looks like a mushroom

third thing new to me ? 4 bolts look like bolt holes under pto for the hook to bolt too ??

presumably forth is ur tractor , if u remove one side can u get the hook to fit in ??

te -20 need the lower arms held just below highest point for external oil , if they get to top no external oil .
that's one of the tee bars jobs , also two stay bars link to hook to lift /lower it .
will be something on u tube ?
