Climate change??

There were less than 2 billion souls consuming this planet's resources when I was born

There are now over 8 billion of us. Eating, shitting, burning fossil fuel, greedily awaiting the next consumer must have, all to keep the currency flowing

Current climate change rhythmic over millenia?

To believe that tripe, you must also believe the past half century human population explosion is also "just rhythmic changes"

Enjoy what you have while you can, for who knows how much longer such pleasures can be sustained

Don't forget decreasing the amount of workable land, all the while our waste & sh!t making its way into the sea, creating sediment & being the true cause of sea levels rising, couple that to building higher buildings on the earth surface, increasing the surface area while creating orbital drag which is both slowing the earths rotation & increasing the temperature...................we humans will truly destroy ourselves right enough.

There are now over 8 billion people who need plastic wrapped processed food to keep them alive in their concrete jungle

Anyone who believes climate change is rhythmic and nothing to worry about must surely also believe the rhythm method is a safe and guaranteed effective form of contraception 💩

If the world climate is changing, how much is due to nature ( the rhythmic change of climate over millions of years)and how much climate change is due to emissions created by us the human race ( in its widest sense)???

Main cause is burning fossil fuels to create carbon dioxide but other gases associated with human activity play a part.

For the last few thousand years we have been in an interglacial period with a stable temperature. Every 100000 years the earth's orbit shifts and we have a glacial period.

Since 1800 the climate has warmed as we burnt fossil fuels.

But not necessarily because of burning fossil fuels.
It was incredibly cold 2 hundred years ago and plant life struggled in the low atmospheric co2.
Happily both co2 and temp have risen a little.
They have both been much higher previously

And winters were so harsh in the 60s and 70s that 'the research' showed we were heading for another ice age.

Don't believe we've caused a sudden dramatic change?

Put some plants in your garage and leave the car running overnight

Now think of how many million tonnes of poison cars have emitted each year, the pollution emitted from coal fires, steel smelters, chemical plants, power stations

All to "assist" world human population to exponentially expand unchecked

Still think climate change is a myth?

Go join the plants beside the running car

Yes, apocalypse sells and as apocalypses go the current one is a bit tame.
An ice age is definitely bad and pretty the end of current civilization.
A little bit of warming, even if true, is just going to bring benefit to humanity

Oh dear, there is no dispute that current levels of co2 are better for plants than those of 200 years ago.
I could go put my head in the oven to prove warming is bad for humans but that would be as pointless as your suggestion

Aye, it's pointless thinking the staggering quantity of recently emitted human pollution is limited to increased Co2

But Co2 is a profitable smokescreen that hides the facts from those who refuse to see

I'll tell you why I'm sceptical. That is because anyone who dares ask legitimate questions is a climate change denier. It was the same with covid, no one was allowed to ask questions, same with immigration. Do you see the people telling to to stop driving/going on holiday/eating meat/using plastic/whatever practising what they are preaching? We're having sh!t cars foisted upon us on a whim. The dumb f**kers want to take productive land out of production to produce solar energy when they panels could easily be put on exsisting suitable roofs and be near were the energy is being used and the infrastructure is and could be incorporated into new buildings even easier, but no, use good land. f**king morons.

A warm summer- global warming
a wet summer - climate change
a dry summer - global warming
a cold winter - climate change

When was the climate correct? There must be a base date somewhere when the climate was how these people wanted it to be, so when was it? If they move the start point around a bit, the figures for how much and if the climate has warmed will look different.

They tell us that global warming kills people, so how many people die from the cold compared to the warm?

I don't think using less fossil fuels from volatile nations is going to be a bad thing, but f**k me, don't make us all skint to do it.

There's huge amounts of money in this. Give science enough money and they can prove what ever it is you want proving.

....and it wouldn't be so bad if UK companies and brands were world leaders in the technology, we might have a lot of renewable energy, but the wind turbines are all German build by Scandiavian companies, the solar PV panels come China, the electric cars are all going to come from China at the expense of the legacy car manufactures. Who the f**k would give China access to our markets for anything more complex than nuts, bolts and cheap plastic tat? If anything is going to be subsidised, why not give Rolls Royce the help they need to get those small, modular nuclear reactors a head start? No, why just f**k over our industry and workers and hand everything over to countries from abroad. How the f**k is the UK ever going to produce anything worth exporting?

Co2 is what the argument about global warming is about.
There is no dispute about particulates , nitrous air pollution etc.
