Clipex fencing

Same gauge of wires and tensile strengths and the loom is made by the Kiwi's. There could well be a difference in the coating of the wire, no comment as to who's is better, I'm not a scientist!

Then maybe a difference in quality control standards but all manufacturers have bad batches from time to time.

This was bugging me so I checked, tornado R/8/80/22 Top two and bottom three wires will fit into clipex . bit of a fiddle. They may have a different product such as pheasant friendly that may fit, I can't try that one.

You have to have the lighter duty Clippex to match with standard 8/80 rolls. These then fit properly.
Not sure if that is a ploy to prey on the mind of buyers, that you will have done a substandard job:sneaky:

Id say you have the Eco posts , the Xfence is millimetre perfect for the standard post.

Might be,I can't remember what I bought.:banghead:

The wire came off mcveigh,I presumed it would match, didn't notice till I'd had the wire 6months as I was using up my tornado.:banghead:

Yes that's your problem , just buy standard stakes and keep the Eco posts to replace timber posts in tornado wire .

I've used the McVeigh Parker hand rammer but you could soon make one with a bit of tube and a plate. Takes seconds to drive a post in - admittedly in boys ground.
