So is it just the same as torus with different spacings and a different name?
Not put tornado wire on clipex yet, but they either have a product or a knack to make it fit apparently.
If i remember correct some time ago did you say you made your own strainers ,do you have any pictures of them you could post pleaseWhat strainers are you going to use.
I use the standard posts at 5 mt spacing.how far are you putting the posts and are they the std post?

This was bugging me so I checked, tornado R/8/80/22 Top two and bottom three wires will fit into clipex . bit of a fiddle. They may have a different product such as pheasant friendly that may fit, I can't try that one.
Id say you have the Eco posts , the Xfence is millimetre perfect for the standard post. Not sure what ht tornado I had but it fit clipex no problem, the feckin Xknot I bought doesn't fit right at the lower 3.

Yes that's your problem , just buy standard stakes and keep the Eco posts to replace timber posts in tornado wire .Might be,I can't remember what I bought.
The wire came off mcveigh,I presumed it would match, didn't notice till I'd had the wire 6months as I was using up my tornado.
Why are you using the rock post in good looking soil and beside timber stakes.View attachment 393616

They sell them alrightThought it looked an odd post, rock posts don't seem to be on mcveighs website.
I wanted to check it would fit this morning without having to knock one in, the rock post is for rock, put pic up later! Why are you using the rock post in good looking soil and beside timber stakes.
I am thinking make them using 139mm tube
at least 9 ft with a 76dia tube brace tied together with 20 mm bar below groundwhat length of tube will you use out of interest?
i used to make man killers 35 years ago and sold them to local ag merchants who stood in livestock markets i think they were 12 quid eachI've used the McVeigh Parker hand rammer but you could soon make one with a bit of tube and a plate. Takes seconds to drive a post in - admittedly in boys ground.
