i also went on avisit in my youth, i expected a giant , he was a midget didnt think the crops looked fantastic , but they must have turned it in .his son seemed quite humble compared to him, he didnt say a word peter took all the limlight.Went on a visit there once and always remember him referring to mice as "meeses"!
You got it squirrelled away somewhere?I bought that fw60 in 2011
That’s rubbish what Walston said was’ why are you giving me a subsidy when prices are so high it makes no sense ‘ . When prices went down he was appreciative of subsidies. He was anything but a muppet he talked a lot of truth especially when read in hindsight. Tony Blair and the Labour party didn’t need Walston to tell them anything they didn’t already know.He (Walston) was a muppet
He didnt need the subsidy, but plenty others did.
Tony blair watched that and stuck the boot in
Anyone with a brain knew why prices and subsidies were high, because of the weak pound after golden wednesday, combined eith a three year drought of 94,95,96That’s rubbish what Walston said was’ why are you giving me a subsidy when prices are so high it makes no sense ‘ . Fair enough you live by a different code. I do remember him visiting the Manydown Estate where they had just sold 100 acres for housing and the owner was still pleading for his State support and as for Gordon Brown putting up the tax on diesel do you think they ran the economy on the back of what they watched on the telly.Anyone with a brain knew why prices and subsidies were high, because of the weak pound after golden wednesday, combined eith a three year drought of 94,95,96
He should have kept his mouth shut.
Gordon brown stuck 10p duty on red deisel as a result of that programme.

As for Peter Hepworth a brilliant man who needs hedges. In recent years travelling around Lincolnshire with my Dad was miserable you can’t see anything for hedges and trees.
How, everything he said is now implemented to a degree , the other guy was behind the curve .i dont know about that!
