superb! does it annoy you that the stocks seeder is slightly off centre though?!:)

What kind of fertilisers have you been putting down Clive - or are you keeping it secret?

All I've done this spring is some 0:24:24 at a high rate for some beans into pasture and about 70kg/ha of DAP for spring barley just as a pop up. Other beans had nothing.

there is another stocks unit going on before autumn that should restore some balance ;) it had to be offset to allow space for the fill auger hopper

will pm you re the fert ;), on the field in those pictures though we have done 4x 4ha trial plots using mycorrhiza, humic acid and molasses so could be interesting

I've never had the heart to use mycoorhiza, humics or molasses really. I want everything to come from a muck heap or the soil itself really. Be interesting to see how you feel they benefit.

give them an in between spring/summer service and paint them green, would finish the hole job off. ;)

it's a trial for Mike Harrington so I haven't bought anything yet, should be very interesting though if there is a difference or not

will post pics as season progresses and will be putting the plots over the weighbridge

Clive, was that bit that is ploughed in the far corner (short work) the damp blackgrass area? ;-)

was waiting for someone to notice that ! its not cultivated, it's just a stubble area with no cover crop that had autumn and spring glyphosate due to a brome problem in that corner last year that I wanted to get on top off

Is molasses supposed to release some locked up elements in the soil or is there some other reason for using it

it's just sugar, food for biology, every living thing needs sugar to survive

we already use it in our N applications on all crops

Yes. Should be a UK standard fitment! It is more about the propensity to damp conditions on this small island of ours.

Easy to fit. Mr Wox sends the slightly longer bolt and new spacer that is required to fit them to the existing arm & bearing on a 90 series opener.

We´re using a quite old 750a with the old type of closing wheel arms. We´d like to try Guttlers now. My question is: Where exactly should the Guttlers run on the seed gap. Coud anyone post a photo taken from behind the machine showing the Guttlers please?

I have an old machine with different arms. Its quite difficult to get guttlers to fit so I bought Thompson wheels from Exapta. They are very good and not cheap but postage from USA has a bearing. Also I think a guy in france sells martin wheels.
