Gonna be some trucks parked up. And lot of lost cargo. I should have got that extra pack of Tangerines and a couple of heads of Broccoli last night. On a positive side might see the price of spuds perk up?
Lorries have been in 60+ mile traffic jams in France all week anyway but no idea of the cause?

Lorries are allowed in here (if the drivers are willing) just nothing going out in the next 48hrs

This could potentially be the most serious part of the pandemic so far?!

***Urgent update***
France and other European countries have at 7pm this evening said there will be a ban on all movements of people and freight from the UK commencing at midnight tonight.
Having spoken to several processors this evening it clearly going to have an adverse effect on trade for export weight lambs at tomorrow’s sale with several firms now saying they will not require this class of lambs.
If you have any questions please contact an auctioneer before consigning lambs tomorrow.
There are still orders tomorrow for home kill supermarket lambs weighing 43kg/50kg farm assured commercial and Mule/hill bred.
Butcher/farm shop/meat wholesalers still on for retail lambs, but heavier types still affected by increase in Tiers in London and other cities.

Would a lorry risk coming into the UK and not be able to get out?

Must be still able to load trailers onto ferries to be picked up by unit at other side? Or has all traffic been stopped?

We had a lorry from Slovenia last week. They didn’t really want to come due to lack of back loads allegedly and the fear of hold ups which didn’t happen. Cost was 30% more than normal!!
