Cluster flush

Considering fitting cluster flush ,
Wondering what sort of figure per unit it is ?
have 12 point swing over

it was £500ish a point a few years ago. I love mine. Should be standard on any new parlour. We’ve got ours turned off atm as we’re having problems with our compressor(belt ones don’t really cut it) and it’s played hell with our Cell counts.
ofcourse though it won’t solve all your problems but it helped us a lot when our housing has been less than perfect.

speak to @ClusterClean Systems. Imo there’s no others worth considering other than the fabdec which Charles from cluster clean designed and they then promptly pinched. The others have different ways of flushing that can cause issues. The cluster clean one you can service yourself

Are you sure you really need it? Have you done any milk cultures to identify bugs? If your bugs are predominantly environmental you would be wasting your money.

Staph a seems to be the culprit ?
At the minute it seems like the missing link house scraped and beds done twice a day cubicles generally clean done with sawdust and lime
Cows pre foamed wiped stripped and post sprayed ,

ADF here , does a good job , only thing i dont like is the cost of liners! . installed 6 years with a capital grant . does save time milking and uses less teatdip. would i put it in now ???? ,need a better milk contract !

Don’t think I’d go all out on adf to be quite honest I don’t mind post spraying Atal gives good chance to check everything’s milked out

How much time does that add to your day? It was horrible when we used to do it

Also how reliable is the testing to identify staph cows? Have had conflicting advice.
We don’t. We don’t have staph. Have done in the past with strep ubris
Which was fine because back then we had a lame group so we just added to it. Now we dry off quarters instead.

We have a home made version of this with 5 hose pipes down the parlour, udder spray guns on the ends and peracetic added with a dosatron. Every unit gets washed between cows.

Had ADF for 5 years and its sorted my cell count and mastitis, had it off for two days last week as had high bacto and see if it made any difference well it didn’t and next morning we had 3 cows with mastitis. Its a bit noisy and would be better if it took less than 15 second to flush.
