Good evening chaps and chapasses.
Has anyone had much to do with CM Agriculture at Lincoln ? A friend of mine is looking at a tractor they have for sale ,
Just wondering if they are honest or not .
Thanks in advance,

Looks bit dodgy to me, as lucy tower street is right in middle of Lincoln, certainly no tractors there unless their storing them in the multistory carpark. Lot of pics look they have same back ground as tractors advertised by parris tractors of Somerset.

Evening - I hope this helps others. Cm Agriculture has now changed to become Agri-landmachinery. www.agri-landmachinery.com Same scam - in fact they even refer in their replies to enquiries to the fact cm agricultures website had been taken over by scammers quoting the "investigation details"!
So please can everybody be careful out there not to let fraudsters leave you out of pocket. I'm sure they will pop up again in another incarnation. Always see the stock, documents etc and follow best practice when buying.

The farm company I manage had a ghost website set up by scammers a few years ago. Tidy website to be fair, with a RSS feed link to the NFU's latest soundbites...!

Took us 3 years to get the police to shut it down. Several suppliers got taken for a ride - the smarter ones looked us up on Google then rang us up to confirm orders for a dozen plasma screen tellys etc. We told them they were being ripped off & they stopped the supply to an unoccupied address in Windsor that always seemed to have someone there to sign for deliveries.

Police are not interested.
They are saying tractors are all repossessions and in storage in Plymouth. Pay them 50% of asking price and they will get it out of storage for you.
Doesn't happen!!!!
Do not send money to any business you can only contact by email!

We (bw tractors & co Ltd) are a genuine business who has had our id stolen for one of these websites. They are all operated by the same gang most probably Eastern European but the site is registered in panama.
We have reported a fraudulent company attempting to replicate our website/company name to ERSOU – the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit.

This regional police team is working with us to identify scam sites and, where possible, remove from them the web. However due to overseas domain names this may not always be easy to do and ERSOU is urging farmers and those in the agricultural industry to be vigilant when buying goods and machinery online.
f you think you have been a victim of fraud: Report it to Action Fraud, the UK’s national fraud reporting centre by calling 0300 123 20 40 or by visiting www.actionfraud.police.uk
