Cocksfoot herbicide?

They are both part of the grass family so you won’t find selective herbicides. You may/ may not have some success with a weed wiper using glyphosate. However if you do kill plants bear in mind that weeds other than grass may fill the gaps. The only other option is to spray off completely then reseed.

Its actually on my neighbours lawn. Hes recently reseeded the lawn but its coverd in cocksfoot. Just want to retain the good grass and wipe out cocksfoot

Doesn’t look hopeful unless he paints roundup on individual plants.:banghead: Looks like a full reseed using the correct seed mix. There was a thread this year about rogue grasses in @Clive lawn. Maybe he has the magic solution.:unsure:
