I have a number of ewes with codd, they are all in the same batch, what have others found to be the most effective antibiotic to treat this. I used terramycin today but have used betamox for codd as well.

Betamox LA should be a better product. There has been some work done with longer acting drugs (gamithromycon, Zactran).

5 point plan to control footrot is important - clearly involved with CODD - mixed infections common.

Also topical spray with antibiotic (lincomycin may be better than the antibiotic aerosols).

Very painful condition - affected sheep should get some anti-inflammatory. Have a chat with your vet.

Yes oxy not very effective. Amoxycillin LA more so. Or if serious outbreak micotil is the about the best, but requires vet to administer.
