They're trying to make money like everyone else. Unfortunately the green religion is taking over the world at the moment. I don't suppose Coldplay are that arsed about it but they see a way to make them selves look good, get some publicity and make a few quid.
Can't really blame them.
I didn't watch it but they were the third or fourth story on the 6 o clock news here last night, so their publicity plans working.

They are :poop: though:eek:

In a good concert every tune is great , very few reach this mark , Paradise is it for Coldplay . Dire Straihts nailed it , even if every tune tune had the same harmony .
Yes, Dire straits were my favourites for many years, although not so good when they did that twisting by the pool shite. I’ve recently found Boz Scaggs . Now there’s a bloke that could play and sing. Also the Waterboys, who I’d never really got into as I didn’t like The whole of the moon, but some of their other stuff is fantastic.
Thank goodness for YouTube

The monsters of rock moscow 91 intro video has disappeared off utube
There's still some good videos from it on there though.
Metallica are the only band that can make a pi**ing down summers night in Manchester look like a place you want to be. :ROFLMAO:
I'm not sure what their stance on climate change is though:nailbiting:

A wonderful refuge for the "old farts" amongst us...

And some new stuff is worth finding too... :)

Are they taking account the miles travelled by the fans to get to the concert?
If I wanted to see them I would probably have to travel the 100 miles or so to Cardiff and back for the sole purpose of watching them play. Are they accounting for that in their carbon calculation?

I think not but it definitely should be...

Probably not, the carbon footprint of their fans travel would surely fall on their own heads.
If they really cared they wouldn’t travel 😂
But then, Chris Martin sets a fine example as he won’t give up his private jet. 🤔

That can’t be right, because the carbon footprint of food eaters seems to fall directly on agriculture…..🤔
